Origami is the art of folding that originated from Japan. Materials used are paper or cloth that is usually quadrangular. An origami is a result of the work of a very precise and smooth the view.

Origami is the art of paper fold the paper held since introduced beginning in the first century in the era of ancient China in 105 BC by Ts'ai Lun.

Paper making plants, small snippets of cloth and improve low-quality paper production. Early examples of origami comes from China is lighter (junk) and the box.

In the 6th century, a paper making and then brought to Spain by the Arabs. In the year 610 in the government empress Suiko (Asuka period), a Buddhist biksu called Donchō (Dokyo) that came from Goguryeo (Korean peninsula) to come to Japan to introduce ways of making paper and ink.

Origami also become popular among the Japanese people until now, especially with the local Japanese paper called Washi.
